Cross Country Race #5 Warren Wilson 5k - Fri. Oct. 4

Directions:

• I-40 Exit 55 toward US-70/E Asheville/V a Hospital
• Turn left onto Porters Cove Rd. (end of off ramp)
• Turn right onto US-70 E/Tunnel Rd
  Continue to follow US-70 E
• Turn left onto Warren Wilson Rd
• Turn left onto Riceville Rd. Parking at Church on right just after Outward Bound School
• Registration across street in field

Oct. 4^th Event #5 – 5k @ Warren Wilson College

Oct. 24^th Event #6 – 5k @ Richmond Hills

Nov. 8^th Event #7 – 6k @ Brevard College                                      

Awards Ceremony TBA @ Flat Rock Village Bakery

Races will start at 6:30pm

Cost will be $15 per race $10 per race for Middle or High School Students

EVERYONE must complete 4 of 7 races to receive long sleeve technical shirt.

EVERYONE MUST RACE FINALE AT BREVARD COLLEGE TO COUNT IN GRAND PRIX STANDINGS!

Prizes will go as follows:

Top 5 Overall Male & Female

Master’s Male & Female (40-49) 1^st Place ONLY

Grand Master’s Male & Female (50-59) 1^st Place ONLY   

Senior Grand Master’s Male & Female (60+) 1^st Place ONLY

Super Senior Grand Master’s Male & Female (70+) 1^st Place Only

Scoring:

Individuals – Your place against your competitors of your gender will be your points - Low score wins w/ your best finishes from 4 of the 7 races (Finale is a must in the scoring!)
