Du the Du Duathlon at Biltmore
- Melissa McCulloch rode the bike section. Here's her report:
"My team, the Biltmore
Winos, had a blast. One of the girls who did the bike leg came up with
the team idea and we carried wine boxes on our backs with hoses to drink from
and shirts saying Biltmore Winos. it was a lot of fun and cannot wait to
do another duathlon. Weather was so much nicer than the marathon and
biking on the west side was a lot of fun. Rain stopped right before race
started so we really lucked out. Took me 54:00 to do the ride, stopped
for a couple of minutes to admire the scenery and drink water (not wine)."
