Tanisha Mitchell, a student at Wellspring Academy in Brevard, NC. Tanisha just completed her first 5k last weekend and couldn't be happier. When Tanisha began her journey with Wellspring she could not walk the distances between her classes; now she has the confidence and capability to run 3.1 miles! Congrats Tanisha!

Melissa McCulloch ran the Sarasota half marathon on the 13th in Florida, while visiting friends and family. Her account is as follows, "It was an absolutely beautiful course, along the water, past the Ringling museum, over the Ringling bridge and through lovely older neighborhoods. It started and ended at the Van Wezel Performing Arts Center. Had a pedestrian time of 2:12." Congrats for getting out there & getting it done!

  1. David ran a strong race and I enjoyed spending some time with him on that tough 10k course! The profile does no justice to the initial segment of that climb!!
