A word from Dawson Hunter:
"Just a word of thanks for fitting me with my Saucony running flats (20081-1) that helped me fly through the National Senior Games 5 K Road Race at Reliant Arena, Houston, TX on Saturday 6/25/2011, to earn a seventh place ribbon with a 36:25 finish, men's 80-84. It was the first time in my life to climb the "olympic" podium with fanfare, all award winners holding hands high. It made all my training worth while. Thanks again for all your help."

Race Report from June 17-19
Jennifer Bauer sent in the following:
"My teammate, Stephanie Briggs and I finished 4th overall in the Elite Special Operations Adventure Race in Highlands, NC on June 11. We finished first in the two person female category. We are team "Will Race for Food." Here's a link to the results. They don't show the two person female results for some reason. http://soarhighlands.org/ResultsSOAR2011.pdf
We mountain biked and ran/hiked for checkpoints that the race directors gave us to plot on a 1:24,000 scale topographic map. Unfortunately, the afternoon thunderstorms cancelled the canoe and rappel for us, so we were penalized 2 hours for each of the 6 points we could not get during those activities. We finished in 11h38min, but with the added 12 hour penalty, our time shows as 23h38min."
Todd Gothberg competed in the Northeast Region USAT Olympic Distance Triathlon Championships in Middlebury, CT over the weekend and finsihed in 2:10:40, took 2nd in his division and qualified for National Championships August 20 in Burlington, VT.

Aaron Kolk won the Rhododendron 10k in 32:46 followed closly by Justin Tebockhorst in 2nd in 32:56. Bart Smith won the Grand Master's Division, & his wife Eve won her Age Group. Raylene Morrow was 3rd in her Age Group. Melissa McCulloch was 3rd in her Age Group finishing in 59:10.
