Coaching Staff is U.S. Track & Field level 1 certified, along with 21 career Marathon
finishes, including 2 Boston qualifiers.

Blackjack 5k Rescheduled for Sun., Mar. 14th

Since we only fit in ONE Blackjack Run this winter due to the inclement weather & conditions of the parks, we have rescheduled for SUNDAY, March 14th at 2pm in Fletcher Park. Registration will start at 1:30pm and cost is $5. Same format as before. Every one will start with one card at the start (given at registration), receive one card at midway, & be able to take one more card at the finish (if wanted). Whoever hits 21 will be the winner. If there are multiple winners, the pot will be split amongst the winners. Winners will be paid with gift certificates to Foot Rx Asheville (not redeemable for cash). Jokers will be added to the cards handed out. If you receive a joker, you will receive a $10 gift certificate to Foot Rx Asheville. If you have any questions, please e-mail aaron@footrx.com

Blackjack 5k 2/6/2010 CANCELED

Unfortunately, due to Fletcher Park being under a layer of snow & ice, we have to cancel the Blackjack Run set for Feb. 6th. We will reschedule one for March. Stay tuned!

Blackjack 5k 1/30/2010 CANCELED

Unfortunately, due to the impending weather, we are going to cancel the Blackjack Run for Jan. 30th at Jackson Park. Our apologies, but we'd rather be safe than sorry. The next Blackjack Run will be next weekend, Feb. 6th at 8am at Fletcher Park. Registration starts at 7:30am. The course will be the same as last time (2x1.5 mile loops). Cost is $5

Sat. Jan. 30th Balck Jack 5k Run

This event will be our trail run for the week.

On Sat. Jan. 30th at 8am in Jackson Park in Hendersonville, we will host our 2nd Black Jack 5k run. Registration starts at 7:30am in the parking lot by the Henderson County Parks & Rec Brick Building. Entry fee is $5. You will receive ONE playing card at registration, one midway through the race, & you may receive one more at the finish line if you so desire. Whoever gets 21 splits the pot. Winner(s) will receive a gift certificate to Foot Rx for their portion of the pot. For extra fun, any one who receives a joker will receive a $10 gift certificate to Foot Rx. All ages & abilities are welcome.

To get to Jackson Park, take the Exit for Hwy 64 towards Hendersonville off of I-26. Follow 64 towards town. You will see a sign to turn LEFT for Jackson Park. Follow this road until it T's, and make a Left into Jackson Park. Follow up hill, & parking will be on your left.
